These protective dust caps prevent dust and debris from settling into the electrical connections of your charging adapter giving you peace of mind that they'll be in working order the next time you need to use them.
2025 Ioniq 5 and 2026 Ioniq 9 come with both a CCS-NACS adapter for DC fast charging and a J1772-NACS adapter for level 2 charging. 2026 Ioniq 5 may or may not come with a Hyundai J1772-NACS adapter. I now have an option for Lectron's J1772-NACS adapter if you needed to purchase one yourself.
