Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis cars don't automatically lock the doors upon exit but this device addresses this issue by automatically locking the doors ten seconds after all doors are closed!

To prevent accidental lockouts, the device will not lock the doors if your key fob or phone is left inside the vehicle, unless the car is in accessory mode (start button pressed without foot on the brake.) You can continue using your preferred method of accessing your car as well whether you prefer fob, phone, or NFC key card.

Installation methods (view vehicle specific instructions by scrolling down this page):

• Trailer connector is the easiest installation. Just plug & play!
  • EV6 Light trim/Ioniq 5 SE Standard Range (small batteries) don't have the trailer light connector and will require using wire taps under the front seat.
  • If your car already has trailer lighting installed on this connector you will need to install with wire taps.
• Wire taps allow you to connect to existing trailer lighting or under the front seats in select vehicles. This is more involved and if you've never worked on car wiring before, this will be more difficult.

EV6 owners without automatic unlocking doors, this device adds auto unlock but your car must have automatic side folding mirrors to use this feature.
